They say never to say never, but honestly we never thought we’d see the day that relics from Kim and Kanye’s ‘love is eternal’ phase would work their way back into our wardrobes. And yet, here we (and Givenchy’s Shark Lock Boots) are.. To be fair, as the style to finally say - ‘mid-calf’ is just not high enough for a ‘knee-high’ boot - we have to say thank you. But are we thankful enough to let them back into our hearts, and onto our feet? Matthew Williamson thinks so and has made a compelling case - dispersing them into all the right hands and revamping them with new colours and lengths (though the leg-extending properties of the originals cannot be denied) - but time will have to tell.
