While we love ourselves a fresh market bunch, after the stagnation of the last few years, nothing feels more joyous than wearing our flora where the world can see it - a.k.a on our sleeves (and everywhere else we can manage). They’ve been peeking their petals out here and there for a few seasons now (Nicky Hilton’s Oscar De La Renta Mini and Kourtney Kardashian’s sheer Dolce are notable mentions), but in 2023 the flower power movement is officially, unavoidably, in motion. From Magda Butrym’s cool-girl blooms, to Coperni’s insouciant roses, Simon Jacquemus’ joyful sunflowers, and Loewe’s anthuriums, it would seem our floral proclivities will be well fed (and watered) year round. Ready to bloom? Find a statement piece (think a mini-skirt, top, or handbag), and watch your wardrobe blossom from there. We’re starting with these, but we’re really hoping our green thumb kicks in…
