What to wear to Après, minus the ski

Après-ski? Turns out we’re not so adept at the athletic bit (it’s a lot of admin), but that doesn’t mean we don’t partake in fashions on the (snow) field…

Toeing the line between function and form (as anyone who’s been lucky enough to experience life slope-side will know), there’s a definitive trick to village dressing. Fluffy bucket hat? Yes. Knee-high puffer boots? Definitely. An over-oversized coat balanced out with form fitting layers? An everyday go-to. Trackpants with Bottega’s? Usually we’d say no but in the snow, anything goes. If you’ve never been but are planning on it, the one thing we’re devastated to say doesn’t work, is heels. Unless you’re going from heated driveway to car to restaurant and back (a la Real Housewives), those heels may be made for walking, but definitely not in the snow. Sad as it is, we found our snow-friendly fun elsewhere, and with these Vogue-worthy picks, you can too.
